Igala UK will be holding its bi-annual elections for executive committee members at our next AGM slated for April 1st, 2023.
The elections will give members of the association the opportunity to nominate and elect the people who will run the affairs of the association for the next two years, as stipulated by our constitution.
Consequently, IUK chairman Rowland Ataguba has constituted an Electoral Committee (EC) that will conduct the election process leading up to the AGM when a new exco will be confirmed and announced.
March 14th - 21st: Nominations
March 22nd - 28th March: Screening, nominee announcement & campaign window
April 1st: Election Day and announcement of new exco
All current exco positions shall be contested including Chairperson, General Secretary, Financial Secretary, Asst. General Secretary, Treasurer, PRO and Activities & Youth Coordinator.
All Igala UK members who are fully registered and financially up to date are eligible to vote and be voted for, according to Article F, section 7 of the constitution.
Starting from Tuesday 14th March 2023, all eligible members will automatically receive an email from Igala UK (or IUK) with a unique link and access code to our secure online voting platform, ElectionBuddy.com.
