Learning to speak and write Igala, made easy and interesting through capable teachers well versed in the Igala language.

The course modules comprise interactive sessions of instruction and tutorials to obtain instant feedback of the learning progress.
Beginning with the rudiments of the Igala language and using the alphabet as the building blocks of language construction, the course introduces igala vowels, consonants and tones as well as the changing tones of vowels in speech. Using rhyme to enable easy reminders of the alphabets and ensuring that learning can be fun as well. You will learn the different parts of speech using nouns, pronouns, verbs etc, persons in grammar i.e 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th etc person and so on.
Imagine learning the seven Igala vowels a, e, e, i, o, o, u, and the consonants “aÌ€baÌ€daÌ€-faÌ€gaÌ€, jaÌ€kaÌ€laÌ€ maÌ€naÌ€...,” from which many words can be formed. Numbers “enye, eji, eta, ele, elu, efa etc”
The courses will run every week in small groups utilizing infotech and video conferencing tools to ensure that everyone can have access to the amazing opportunities that these language courses offer to speak Igala {k’igala), write Igala (k’igala) and perhaps, teach Igala (k’igala).
The courses have been carefully and professionally validated to provide a good understanding of Igala for young adults and children (from 12 years) who have not been exposed to Igala continuously and may help to resolve identity issues as well as equip our young people as they soldier into the future.
Courses run on Sundays at 5pm (BST) .
